GoLogin proxy setup

GoLogin accepts your own proxy per profile and can paste many at once. This guide covers adding one IPMusk proxy, bulk import, and the fingerprint settings that should follow the IP.

Which IPMusk proxy to pick

  • Long-lived accounts: Static ISP. One profile gets one fixed IP that stays the same every day.
  • Short tasks: sticky residential. A line holds the same IP for 1, 3, 10 or 30 minutes. Pick 30 minutes when you need to log in.
  • Scraping, no logins: rotating residential. Every request gets a new IP, which breaks logged-in sessions.
  • Lower cost, fixed IP: Datacenter. It is not residential or ISP, so strict sites may treat it differently.
  • Never reuse one static IP across many profiles.

What you need

  • A GoLogin account and the desktop app, updated to the latest version.
  • An IPMusk proxy line.
  • Residential: dashboard → Residential → Connect (/app/residential/connect). Pick country, session type and protocol, then copy the line.
  • Static ISP or Datacenter: dashboard → Static ISP → Proxies (/app/isp/proxies) or Datacenter → Proxies (/app/datacenter/proxies). Open a proxy to see its host, port, username and password.
  • Placeholders used below: PROXY_HOST, PORT, USERNAME, PASSWORD.

Add a proxy to one profile

  1. 1
    Open the profile's Proxy settings

On a profile, click the three dots, then Settings, then Proxy.

  2. 2
    Choose Your proxy

The other choices are GoLogin's own proxy and no proxy. You want your own.

  3. 3
    Enter or paste the line

Fill in host, port, username and password. You can also paste PROXY_HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD or socks5://USERNAME:PASSWORD@PROXY_HOST:PORT and GoLogin splits it.

  4. 4
    Set the protocol

Use HTTP for Static ISP and Datacenter. For residential, use HTTP or SOCKS5 to match the protocol you picked in IPMusk.

  5. 5
    Read the check result

GoLogin tests the proxy as soon as you add it. Green means it works. Red means it does not.

  6. 6
    Save and start

Save the profile and start it.

Add many proxies at once

  1. 1
    Export from IPMusk

Copy your residential lines, or export your Static ISP or Datacenter list.

  2. 2
    Use one line per proxy

Accepted shapes include PROXY_HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD, http://PROXY_HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD and socks5://USERNAME:PASSWORD@PROXY_HOST:PORT. IPMusk's host:port:user:pass line works as is.

  3. 3
    Paste into the profile list

On the All profiles page, paste several lines into the Location column with your keyboard shortcut or the Paste proxies button.

  4. 4
    Or use the Proxies page

Click Proxies in the left menu, click Import proxies, paste, and confirm with Import proxies.

  5. 5
    Or update selected profiles

Tick several profiles, click Proxy in the bulk actions row, paste the lines and click Update proxy.

  6. 6
    Check the pairing

Make sure each profile got its own proxy and the proxy country fits the profile.

Line format
PROXY_HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD

A faster route for one profile on the All profiles page: click the + in the Location column, click the computer icon, enter the details and click Connect.

Match the fingerprint to the proxy

  • Timezone: keep Fill timezone based on the external IP switched on (it is on by default).
  • Geolocation: keep Fill geolocation based on the external IP on. The site permission can stay on Prompt.
  • WebRTC: set it to Based on IP, which reports the proxy's IP. Off also stops the leak but can break sites that need WebRTC.
  • Language: set the browser language to suit the IP's country.

Check it works

  1. 1
    Look for the green mark

It appears next to the proxy after you add it.

  2. 2
    Start the profile

Open an IP-check page in it.

  3. 3
    Compare IP and country

They should match the proxy in your IPMusk dashboard.

  4. 4
    Confirm timezone and WebRTC

Both should show the same country, and neither should show your home IP.

If it fails

  • Red mark or auth error: hover over the icon for the full message. Re-copy USERNAME and PASSWORD from IPMusk.
  • Timeout: try another network, such as a phone hotspot, then check protocol HTTP versus SOCKS5.
  • Works in another browser, not in GoLogin: update the app, or try the same profile on the web version.
  • Wrong location on a checker: set geolocation to Blocked or enter coordinates that match the proxy. Sites can read the browser's location separately from the IP.
  • Timezone looks odd: if GoLogin cannot read the IP's city, switch off the auto-fill options and set timezone and geolocation by hand.
  • Custom DNS with an HTTP proxy: remove the custom DNS or use a SOCKS5 line.
  • Account logged out: you are on a rotating line. Move to sticky 30 minutes or Static ISP.
